When I was a little girl, I never seem to be able to figure out why would anyone choose cups over cones for yummy icecream or wear black and grey instead of colorful patterns. But as I walk across the mall in my black blazer putting a spoonful of Yogen-Fruz (fake icecream made from yogurt) in my mouth, I suddenly realized that I’ve became one of the grown-ups I used to despise.
I am currently a Co-op student from University of Waterloo planning to complete my major in Computer Science and minor in Fine Arts. I like to plan ahead, organize my tasks, and always try to keep high expectations for myself and low expectations for others around me. I have learned to be forgiving and considerate to those who I come contact with. These personal choices led me to the person who I am today.
I was born in Beijing, July 4th, 1987 at exactly 8PM. My mom decided to nickname me Duoduo (多多) before I was even born. My Chinese name Shi (姼) was chosen by my dad. The left hand side of the word indicates that I am female and the right hand side of the word presents my nickname. This word is uncommon in the Chinese language, which literally translates to wonderful beauty.
This is the resume I use for Co-op job hunting. It will be updated every work term. |
